While researching Falconers during work on day, bossman happened upon me, only to launch into a story about how he was an apprentice falconer at the age of 16, catching a hawk of his own, even getting his license. He was able to explain how to get your bird to come back to you and recommended I look up Gyr Falcons, the most coveted prize for a falconer, which is snow white. SOLD

The sister piece to this, this figure is partly inspired by the Japanese film "Ju-On" or "the Grudge" which scares the bejesus outta me but I can't stay away.
The image is a Foo Dog, which is a Chinese guardian, pictured here battling the mighty origami swan, papercuts everywhere.
